You'll play a critical role in driving financial excellence across these regions by ensuring operational accuracy, commercial insight, and scalable processes that empowers our business to grow.Reporting to the Senior Finance Director, you'll manage one direct report and collaborate closely with senior business leaders. You'll be a trusted advisor and strategic partner, bringing a balance of commercial acumen, people leadership, and operational discipline to the role.Practically, this will involve:Leading the financial operations and reporting for North America and LATAM. The scope of the role may increase to also include the UK and Europe regions in the futureManaging and developing your team, including one direct report, with a strong focus on growth, capability building, and career developmentPartnering closely with senior commercial leaders (including CRO, VP of Sales, VP of Customer in the USA) to provide financial insights that inform strategy and drive business performanceDriving initiatives to streamline financial operations, improve automation, and embed AI-enabled processes for better accuracy and efficiencyOverseeing month-end close and supporting forecasting to ensure informed decision-making around investments, resourcing, and regional growthOverseeing and approving payroll, expenses, AP & ARManaging multi-currency consolidation to our NZ parent entity, ensuring alignment with IFRS group reporting standardsOverseeing tax compliance and coordination across regions, including working with local advisors to ensure statutory and regulatory obligations are metSupporting business expansions into different geographies - evaluating finance and tax considerations, ensuring we manage risk and structure effectivelyThis role reports to Craig Bott, Senior Finance Director I joined Auror in 2024 after returning from 7 years working in London. I've come from some larger corporate organisations and I love being part of the team at Auror where every day looks a bit different and the work and decisions I make have a noticeable impact on our team and the wider business. Outside of work, I am a proud Dad of two young boys. On the weekends we love to go out adventuring, often to find a new playground or icecream spot. Thankfully I enjoy running to balance out my serious sweet tooth!RequirementsAbout you You're a qualified accountant with a strong track record leading finance operations in a fast-growing, global business, ideally in software or technology. You combine strategic thinking with operational excellence, and you're energised by helping a company scale sustainably.Here's what you'll bring:Location: You're based in the Denver area, with the ability to collaborate closely with our North American teamLeadership: At least two years' experience in a finance leadership role, with proven success developing and growing high-performing teamsTechnical expertise: Solid understanding of accounting, compliance, and tax across multiple U.S. states, including experience navigating multi-entity and multi-currency environmentsInternational perspective: Experience working across regions or cultures.
