Not execute that plan!We’re looking for an FP&A guru: someone with the modelling firepower, the strategic thinking, and the leadership presence to shape the financial story of the business. You’ll be the CFO’s right hand on all things planning, forecasting, and performance - but also a trusted partner to the wider leadership team when it comes to investment, pricing, and growth decisions.What you’ll doLead on all commercial data and modellingOwn and lead the entire FP&A function across the groupDrive annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planningBuild world-class models that bring clarity to complex financialsDeliver variance analysis with clear, actionable recommendationsCreate and review business cases for major investments, M&A, and new venturesPartner with executives and senior leaders to inform decisions on strategy, pricing, and performanceDevelop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting packs that drive accountability and insightBuild and inspire a best-in-class FP&A team with a culture of continuous improvementKeep an eye on macro trends and market risks to inform forward-looking strategyWhat we’re looking forAlready operating at senior FP&A leadership level - ideally Head of FP&A or Director of FP&AAdvanced modelling, analytics, and forecasting capability (this is core to the role)Proven success creating and evaluating complex business casesExperience in B2B, telco, IT services, engineering, construction, or other complex, project-heavy sectorsQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong academicsClear evidence of career progression, stability, and impact in your CVExcellent communication skills - able to bring numbers to life and influence at board levelCommercially sharp, thrives in high-growth and change-oriented environmentWhy join?£130,000 – £140,000 + 20% bonusWork directly with an inspiring, dynamic CFOCareer development in a fast-scaling, PE-backed businessHigh visibility and commercial influence at board levelFlexible hybrid working (3 days/week near Reading HQ)Collaborative, high-energy culture
