Job Title: IT Infrastructure & Systems DirectorLocation: Blue Mall, Santo Domingo.Employment Type: Full-time/On-site(CV IN ENGLISH)Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Infrastructure & Systems Leader to oversee our enterprise IT operations, cloud infrastructure, security posture, and application ecosystem.This role combines hands-on technical leadership with team, vendor, and project management responsibilities, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable technology operations across the organization.The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in AWS infrastructure, Microsoft enterprise systems, networking, security, and web platforms, and is comfortable managing both internal teams and offshore/external resources.Key Areas of ResponsibilityInfrastructure, Cloud & SecurityOwn and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, including servers, networking, access controls, monitoring, and cost optimizationOversee Linux-based server environments and related servicesLead network and firewall management (Fortinet / FortiGate / FortiEMS / FortiDLP or similar platforms)Define and enforce IT security policies, controls, and best practices, including data protection and audit readinessManage DNS, API integrations, and infrastructure-related servicesPartner with internal teams and external auditors on security reviews and risk mitigationMicrosoft Ecosystem & Enterprise SystemsManage and support the Microsoft environment, including:Microsoft 365 / OfficeExchangeEntra ID (Azure AD)Intune and endpoint managementOversee identity management, access policies, device governance, and user lifecycle management.Web Services & Application DevelopmentOversee internal and external web application development effortsSupervise platforms using PHP, Apache, .NET, and related technologiesEstablish web development standards, approval workflows, QA processes, and deployment practicesEnsure application reliability, security, and scalability (internal and customer-facing systems)IT Operations, Governance & Project ManagementDefine and maintain IT operational processes, documentation, and governance standardsLead IT project planning, prioritization, and cross-department coordinationAllocate IT resources effectively across infrastructure, development, and support initiativesManage IT assets, vendor contracts, and service providersOversee incident management, escalations, and root cause analysisManage IT-related budgets, approvals, and vendor paymentsTeam & Vendor ManagementLead, mentor, and develop technical staff (infrastructure, security, development)Manage offshore teams and external vendors (e.g., India, Philippines, LATAM, MSPs)Establish performance expectations, KPIs, and service levelsCoordinate across time zones with global partners and consultantsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (advanced degree preferred)5–10+ years of senior-level IT experience in infrastructure, systems, or IT leadership rolesProven experience managing technical teams and vendorsStrong hands-on experience with:AWS cloud infrastructureLinux server environmentsMS SQL (administration and/or architecture exposure)Deep understanding of enterprise data security, access controls, and IT risk managementRelevant certifications preferred (Microsoft, AWS, Fortinet, etc.)Fluency in EnglishPreferred QualificationsDBA-level knowledge of MS SQLExperience with Tableau (server/platform administration)Experience with Data Lakes and Data Warehousing architecturesSpanish language skillsExperience managing offshore development and infrastructure teamsBackground supporting analytics, reporting, and data platformsWhy This RoleHigh-impact leadership role with ownership over infrastructure, security, and applicationsOpportunity to modernize enterprise IT standards and cloud strategyExposure to modern cloud, data, and analytics environmentsLead globally distributed teams and strategic technology partnersHOW TO APPLY: SEND YOUR CV IN ENGLISH
