Job Summary:We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor working in the display and point-of-purchase (POP) industry to oversee our client's logistics and distribution operations. This role is responsible for managing the flow of custom display products from production through packaging and delivery, ensuring on-time shipments and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and capable of managing complex, deadline-driven schedules across multiple retail client programs.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and logistics functions in a fast-paced display manufacturing environment.Supervise warehouse staff and logistics team, including a warehouse manager, shipping and receiving clerks (12-15 associates in total)Ensure accurate and timely staging, packing, and shipment of custom display units to retail and commercial locations.Coordinate closely with production, account management, and project teams to align logistics with client deadlines and routing guides.Maintain compliance with customer-specific shipping requirements, including documentation, labeling, and pallet configurations.Source and manage relationships with freight providers (LTL, FTL, small parcel), ensuring competitive rates and reliable service.Monitor inventory levels of finished goods and packaging materials, adjusting resources as needed to meet production schedules.Implement logistics KPIs and continuous improvement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery accuracy.Ensure compliance with internal safety standards and OSHA regulations.Utilize ERP and WMS systems to manage inventory, track shipments, and maintain real-time reporting.Qualifications:3+ years of experience in logistics, shipping, or warehouse operations in a manufacturing or display production environment.1+ years in a supervisory or team leadership role.Strong understanding of custom product logistics, kitting, and high-volume distribution.Experience with freight scheduling, carrier negotiation, and routing guide compliance.Proficiency with inventory and logistics software (e.g.,Vantage Epicor or similar)Solid organizational and communication skills with an ability to manage tight deadlines and shifting priorities.Must be comfortable working in Excel to generate reportingWork Environment:Primarily warehouse and production floor-based with office and system work required. 40,000 square foot warehouse.Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with seasonal peaks.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate material handling equipment.Working hours anywhere between 7am to 5pm Monday through Friday.Compensation:Competitive salary based on experience, with benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan options.Submit your resume today!
