Job Title: Director of MarketingFlexible Salary + Full Expat PackageJob Overview:Our client is seeking an accomplished Director of Marketing to lead the full spectrum of marketing initiatives for a branded luxury lifestyle resort in the Maldives. This executive-level role requires a hands-on, adaptable leader who can take ownership from day one while elevating brand visibility, strengthening global positioning, and driving exceptional guest engagement. The ideal candidate brings a strong luxury lifestyle background and thrives in a remote island environment.Key Responsibilities:Develops and executes an integrated marketing strategy aligned with the resort’s brand vision and commercial goals.Leads digital marketing, brand communications, PR, social media, partnerships, and content development to strengthen global reach.Drives demand generation through targeted campaigns, influencer collaborations, and high-impact storytelling.Oversees all visual production to ensure premium-quality content reflecting luxury brand standards.Ensures consistent brand representation across all guest touchpoints, both on-property and globally.Partners closely with Sales, Revenue, F&B, and Operations teams to support performance targets.Monitors market trends, competitive activity, and guest insights to refine marketing approaches.Manages budgets, reporting, KPIs, and overall marketing performance optimization.Fosters a creative, agile, and high-performance culture within the marketing function.Represents the resort at brand-level meetings, media engagements, and industry events.Qualifications & Requirements:Proven executive-level marketing background, preferably within luxury lifestyle or high-end hospitality brands.Experience in remote island destinations, with Maldives exposure strongly preferred.Strong capability in developing integrated marketing programs for luxury-oriented audiences.Hands-on, solutions-focused leadership style with the ability to adapt quickly and take immediate ownership.Expertise in digital marketing, luxury branding, PR, and premium-level content production.Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate brand strategies into measurable results.Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.Ability to excel in a dynamic, remote island work environment.
