Role Title:Director of MobileBusiness Area:eir CSBAbout This Role:The Director of Mobile is a critical role in eir’s Consumer and Small Business team and in eir overall. This position is accountable for developing and implementing eir's Consumer Mobile strategy. The Director of Mobile is responsible for delivering the Consumer Mobile P&L and market-share objectives across eir and GoMo.Expectations From The Role:Key Responsibilities:Strategic Development: Creating the future strategic direction for the Mobile customer base that aligns with eir’s purpose to ‘Connect for a better Ireland’. Ensure this strategy drives growth in the customer base, revenue and EBITDA objectives.Product and Proposition Roadmap: Develop a comprehensive product/proposition roadmap that differentiates eir services in market and positions the company for market leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to successfully bring these offerings to the market. Pricing Strategy: Formulate and execute a Mobile pricing strategy to drive sales and growth of the mobile base across multiple segments and brands. This strategy should contribute to revenue targets and other key performance indicators (KPIs).5G Adoption: Drive the adoption of 5G among new and existing customers, with a focus on upgrading customers. Leverage pricing, propositions, sales, operations and retention resources to achieve this goal.Churn Reduction: Lead efforts to significantly reduce Mobile churn by working together with the Consumer Value Management (CVM) and Customer Care teams. Emphasis on upgrading customers, maximising commercial spend on handsets and devices, upselling revenue generating units (RGUs) and improving experience and communications effectiveness.Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing team to develop compelling Above-the-Line (ATL) and Below-the-Line (BTL) communications to enhance brand consideration for eir. Device & SAC Management: Maintain portfolio of handsets and mobile broadband devices to support the customer segments, ensuring the SAC budget is optimised to deliver customer and revenue growthValue-Add Services: Collaborate with Network and IT teams, along with 3rd parties to provide a range of value added service, that both enhance the customer experience and deliver incremental revenueConsumer Insights: Partner with the Insights team to strengthen the understanding of the Mobile consumer, the applicable market, and the required technology to inform future strategic direction. Leverage this knowledge to enhance the development of our offerings for both financial results and customer experience.Key Performance Indicators:Financial:Consumer EBITDA.Total Mobile service revenue.Delivering Average Revenue per Unit (ARPU) and Average Margin per Unit (AMPU) within operational & capital expenditure parameters.Maintaining and delivering a tactical & proposition based roadmap for the required services.CustomersNet Promoter Score (NPS).Mobile customer base.TeamDevelop a high-performing team, by providing clear direction and motivation towards a shared objective.Enhance and maintain employee engagement.Coordinate with stakeholders from different fields, such as Finance.Work as a core part of the Consumer team to deliver revenue and marginal targets.Requirements For A Successful Application:Requirements Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Business Acumen: Strong expertise in marketing and product management disciplines with the ability to apply this knowledge to drive business success.Creative and Flexible: Creativity and flexibility in generating ideas or building on the ideas of others, fostering innovation within the teamAnalytical and Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem solving abilities to effectively navigate complex challenges and data driven decisions.Project Management: Excellent project management skills; planning, organisation and prioritisation, to successfully execute initiatives and prioritisation skills.Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholdersLeadership: Proven ability of working through others and influencing decision making processes up to board level. Responsible for leading, developing and coaching a high-performing team.Decision Making: The ability to contribute to strategic discussion and decision making as this role is a vital member of the Consumer and SMB management team that is responsible for design, input and setting of the strategic direction.Key requirements:10 years experience of Mobile or Telco commercial management.Degree level education.4 years experience of managing teams.4 years experience of managing commercial KPIs.4 years P&L ownership and management.Strong presentation skills.Strong communicator (oral and written).
