Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing company based in North York, is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead their production, supply chain, and operational strategy.This role is ideal for a hands-on operations leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has a proven record of driving efficiency, safety, and performance across teams. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the operational direction of a dynamic business, working closely with ownership and senior leadership to deliver sustainable growth.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of day-to-day operations, including production, scheduling, logistics, inventory control, and maintenance.Develop and implement operational strategies, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize throughput.Lead, mentor, and develop department managers and production staff, fostering a culture of accountability and engagement.Collaborate with finance, sales, and engineering teams to ensure alignment between production goals and business objectives.Maintain and improve health, safety, and quality standards across all facilities.Manage budgets, monitor costs, and identify opportunities for operational savings.Oversee supply chain performance, vendor management, and materials forecasting.Champion lean manufacturing principles and operational excellence initiatives.Qualifications10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a senior management or director-level role.Strong background in production planning, process improvement, and team leadership.Proven success implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.Exceptional communication and organizational skills; able to lead cross-functional teams effectively.Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, ERP software, Amazon and KPIs.Engineering, Operations, or Business degree preferred; MBA or PMP designation considered an asset.What’s in It for YouCompetitive base salary + performance bonus + benefits.Leadership role with real influence over strategic operations.Opportunity to join a growing, financially strong organization with long-term stability.Supportive executive team that values innovation, efficiency, and employee engagement.Career growth potential as the company expands its production capabilities.If you are qualified, please apply within, and we look forward to speaking with you.
