Director of Operations

The Director of Operations will lead and oversee all aspects of manufacturing across multiple facilities, ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, and high-quality output. This role is responsible for strategic planning, production management, process optimization, and team leadership to support the company’s growth and customer satisfaction goals.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute manufacturing strategies aligned with business objectives.Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.Collaborate with executive leadership on capacity planning, capital investments, and long-term operational goals.Oversee daily operations across production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain functions.Ensure production targets are met while maintaining safety, quality, and cost standards.Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve performance.Build and lead a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies.Ensure adherence to ISO and other relevant quality standards.Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and competitiveness.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (Master’s preferred).10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.Proven track record in managing multi-site operations and driving operational excellence.Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ERP systems.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
