Job Title: Director of Operations/DeliveryLocation: Mexico City (5 days work from office)Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Director of Operations/Delivery with a strong background in IT services, specifically in Infrastructure and Digital solutions. The ideal candidate will lead hiring efforts, drive productivity, manage performance, and create effective operational models to ensure seamless collaboration between offshore, onshore, and US-based teams. This role also requires engagement with US customers, which is a desirable skill.Key Responsibilities:Talent Acquisition and Management:Identify and hire the right talent with the required skills at competitive pricing.Ensure new hires align with organizational culture and project requirements.Resource Productivity Enhancement:Develop and implement strategies to improve the productivity of resources working in Mexico.Track and report on performance metrics to assess efficiency and effectiveness.Performance Management:Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.Develop and implement career development plans and training initiatives for team members.Operational Model Development:Design and implement an operational model that ensures seamless collaboration between offshore and US-based resources.Optimize resource allocation and workflow processes to enhance project delivery.Customer Engagement (Nice to Have):Collaborate with US-based customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.Act as a liaison between the customer and internal teams to ensure expectations are met.Qualifications:Proven experience in a leadership role within an IT services company.Strong expertise in Infrastructure and Digital services.Demonstrated success in hiring, performance management, and productivity improvement.Experience in creating and managing offshore and onshore delivery models.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field; MBA is a plus.Work Environment:This is a full-time, office-based role in Mexico City, requiring a commitment of 5 days per week onsite.Preferred Skills:Experience working with US-based customers.Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is an advantage.
