Job Description
We are seeking an accomplished Director of Room Revenue to lead all aspects of rooms revenue optimization for our property. This strategic role is responsible for maximizing the hotel’s room revenue potential. The ideal candidate combines sharp analytical insight with strategic business acumen, ensuring the hotel achieves optimal revenue performance across all market segments through data-driven pricing, demand forecasting, and effective inventory management.Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Revenue Strategy & ForecastingDevelop and implement revenue management strategies to maximize hotel profitability.Lead the preparation of accurate forecasts for rooms and total hotel revenue.Analyze demand patterns, market trends, and competitor performance to adjust pricing and inventory strategies proactively.Partner with the sales and marketing teams to align demand generation with revenue objectives.Pricing & DistributionManage all pricing decisions, ensuring optimal rate structures across all segments.Oversee inventory allocation across distribution channels (GDS, OTA, brand website, corporate).Maintain parity and rate integrity across all systems and third-party platforms.Recommend promotions and packages to drive occupancy and RevPAR growth.Reporting & AnalysisProduce weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue reports with actionable insights.Monitor key performance indicators (ADR, Occupancy, RevPAR, GOPPAR, etc.).Conduct post-analysis of revenue initiatives to assess ROI and identify opportunities for improvement.Leadership & CollaborationLead and mentor the reservations team, fostering a culture of analytical thinking and commercial success.Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to drive unified business strategies.Represent the hotel in revenue meetings and strategic discussions.Minimum Required Qualifications/Abilities:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field.Minimum 4 years of revenue management experience in a luxury hotel environment.Ability to interpret complex data, pricing trends, and market demand forecasts.Strong capability to analyze performance metrics (e.g., RevPAR, GOPPAR, ADR, and occupancy rates).Strong knowledge of PMS, CRS, and RMS systems (e.g., Wave, IDeaS, Duetto, or similar).Ability to monitor competitor activity and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.Understand market segmentation, competitive positioning, and rate parity.Proficiency in Excel, BI tools, and data visualization platforms.Demonstrated success in developing and executing revenue strategies that drive measurable results.Exceptional analytical, communication, presentation and leadership skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive market environment.Preference will be given to candidates with experience in mixed-use properties.Closing date: November 3, 2025If you are vibrant, possess lots of energy, willing to go the extra mile and have a love of tourism and Bermuda – please apply.
