Learn more.Eyeline Studios is seeking an accomplished Director of VFX Production to lead our Vancouver, LA and London teams through all stages of VFX project delivery, from pre-production to final handoff. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for the strategic, creative, and operational success of the studio, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a dynamic, people-oriented leader with over ten years of hands-on VFX production management experience within a studio or production company. The ideal candidate has deep experience producing and leading in the Canadian market and a strong ability to collaborate with global teams. You will oversee production operations, mentor regional staff, manage client relationships, and champion innovative workflows for continuous improvement and operational excellence at Eyeline.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all active productions in Vancouver, London and Los Angeles ensuring projects stay on budget and on scheduleServe as the primary escalation point for VFX project issuesAnalyze cost report metrics and title schedules, offering data driven recommendations to improve efficiency and ensure on-time deliveryGuide resource allocation and title prioritization across all active projects in VancouverSupervise and mentor regional production staff, providing training and fostering company cultureGuide the technology training team to develop curricula that advance artist skills and support adoption of generative workflowsLiaise with Netflix title managers to align business objectives with production goalsPartner with internal and external teams to support diverse global projectsCollaborate with global VFX Production leaders in Seoul and Hyderabad to maintain consistent standards and efficiency across regions. Identify workflow gaps and automation opportunities; work with technical teams to implement effective solutionsQualifications15+ years of experience in VFX production management roles, ideally within a studio or VFX production company, with proven leadership of large teams (50+ people)Thorough understanding of production and post production processes, and the knowledge of the broader US film and series ecosystemExceptional organizational, project management, and resource management skills, with a track record of overseeing multiple complex project schedulesExcellent communication skills, with experience collaborating effectively across cross-functional and cross-cultural teamsStrong business acumen, strategic thinking, and problem solving abilities; able to make proactive decisions and drive continuous improvement under pressurePeople oriented leader, adept at mentoring, fostering teamwork, and building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levelsAbout UsEyeline is a global creative studio partnering with storytellers to turn their ambitions into stunning reality.
