Director of Sales, Pyro & GrindingROLE OVERVIEW: Director of Sales, Pyro & GrindingThe Director of Sales, Pyro & Grinding leader drives global sales growth by delivering competitive technical and commercial solutions to customers. This role leads the Pyro & Grinding sales organization, collaborating with internal stakeholders to align strategies, manage proposals, and ensure projects are executed as promised. The Director of Sales actively engages with customers in the final stages of negotiation, forms contracts, and establishes disciplined follow-up to maintain alignment across teams. As part of the Pyro & Grinding Leadership Team, this position contributes to overall product line strategy and profitability through strong commercial focus, customer partnership, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a commercially driven, technically fluent sales leader who excels at building global customer partnerships, leading cross-functional teams, and driving profitable growth.RESPONSIBILITIES: Director of Sales, Pyro & GrindingLead the Pyro & Grinding sales organization, ensuring delivery of optimal commercial and technical solutions that meet customer needs while driving sustainable profitability and growth.Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with broader business objectives, supporting both short-term performance goals and long-term market positioning.Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Engineering, Product Line Management, and Project Execution, to align on opportunities, initiatives, and customer-specific challenges.Proactively engage and follow up with key accounts through regular communication and on-site interaction, building trusted, long-term partnerships grounded in reliability and technical expertise.Oversee commercial agreements and payment terms in coordination with legal and finance teams, ensuring compliance, clarity, and balanced outcomes.Manage CRM data, forecasts, and pipeline visibility to drive transparent reporting and informed decision-making, maintaining seamless handoffs between Sales and Project Execution.REQUIREMENTS: Director of Sales, Pyro & Grinding5+ years of progressive sales leadership experience within heavy industrial, engineering, or capital equipment markets; background in cement or process industries preferred.Strong technical and commercial acumen across pyro processing or grinding systems, with the ability to align customer needs to value-driven solutions.Proven success leading high-performing sales teams and driving profitable growth across global regions.Skilled in strategic planning, contract negotiation, and customer relationship management.Collaborative leader experienced partnering with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to ensure seamless execution.Data-driven, organized, and fluent in CRM tools, forecasting, and KPI management.Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills.Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred. English fluency is required; bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus.Willingness to travel internationally up to 50%.
