The Director Operation Group Power & Mobility Components is responsible for driving operational performance, resource management, and contributing to the industrial strategy across Power & Mobility Components (PMC) sites. This role ensures alignment on key performance indicators, drives continuous improvement initiatives and fosters collaboration across all PMC locations to achieve operational excellence. By providing strategic direction and promoting a culture of shared success, the Director of Operations enables PMC to deliver consistent and scalable results.Ownership And Key ResponsibilitiesAccountable to reach Safety Quality Cost Delivery and footprint transformation targetsSteer sites for Operations financial Metrics including, but not limited to OPEX, CAPEX, VCP, NET Material Deflation & cost variancesDrive operational performance through lean/continuous improvement/automation/digitalization as well as process maturity and compliance across PMC sitesAccountable for workload balancing across sitesWhat will your typical day look like?OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE ACROSS PMC SITESDrive operational performance and continuous improvement across PMC sitesSteer sites to reach SQCD targets, ensures On Time DeliveryGenerate positive variances year-over-year, avoids negative standard cost variancesEnsure safety standards deployment across sites within the region and EHS performanceDrive the sustainability improvement plan across sites within the regionFOOTPRINT, CAPACITY AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENTBalance capacity / load across sites optimizing manufacturing footprint, including potential transfers and synergies.;Validate CAPEX across the PMC sitesConsolidate, challenges and validates SIOP processes at PMC sitesINTERFACE WITH COMMERCIAL TEAMS Coordinate with Sites to provide the Industrial strategy inputs for bids and product managementKey KPIsSustained improvement of EHS KPIsQCD Performance improvement for the PMC sites including variances and VCPAchieve Footprint Transformation targets as per agreed business plansExecute CAPEX programs according to agreed business planN+1Group President, PMC, with integration into Transit Operations n-1 leadership teamN-1No direct reportsWho will you be working with?Transit COOGroup President PMCProduct Line Vice President and their Operations leadership teamsWhat do we want to know about you?BA/BS in engineering, business, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.Approximately 15+ years of experience as Managing Director and/or Senior Operations in international environment.Experience in lowering a company’s costs and increasing productivity and revenue.Demonstrated ability to lead, guide and influence a dispersed group of leaders without direct authority over them.Proven track record of building and cultivating relationships with team members as well as key internal and external stakeholders.Who are we?
