This role involves strategic thinking, leadership, strong collaboration and senior stakeholder management.Your main responsibilities are:Lead complex, cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives from concept to executionIdentify and leverage synergies across drug platforms and portfolios to allow for enhancement of operational efficiency across the drug development pipelineDesign, implement, and continuously improve organization-wide frameworks for R&D project and program management across all platform technologies and drug portfoliosRepresent the R&D Program Management Division in global strategic forums, engaging with senior leadership and executive stakeholdersAct as a change leader, fostering innovation and aligning diverse team needs with scalable structures and systemsWhat you have to offer:Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or MSc) in Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, or related fieldOver 5 years of proven experience successfully leading multiple, concurrent, cross-functional teams in a matrix environmentExpert knowledge of pharmaceutical drug-development processesProven competency in budget & resource managementAdvanced project-management methodologies; PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification is a plusExceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-influencing skills at all organizational levels, including executive/C-suiteExcellent, documented leadership skills including situational leadershipStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence without authority, motivate with enthusiasm and develop productive working relationships with key stakeholdersHigh proficiency with digital PM/portfolio tools (e.g., MS Project, Planisware, Smartsheet, Tableau/PowerBI)Process-oriented and able to create and drive process while also recognizing when flexibility is neededProven track-record in implementing system/process improvements and change initiativesAbility to pivot flexibly from strategy to operations and explain the interconnections to collaborators with a wide variety of backgrounds and disciplines Your Benefits:BioNTech is committed to the wellbeing of our team members and offers a variety of benefits in support of our diverse employee base.
