Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Sales to lead all sales activities for our combined air and water business. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, leading and mentoring a team of National Sales Managers, and achieving ambitious revenue and profitability targets. This role requires a strategic thinker with a "can-do" attitude and a proven ability to promote and increase sales of Rheem's air and water products to a diverse range of partners, including channel partners, contractors, specifying engineers, and national accounts.Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership: Develop (in collaboration with leadership team & overall strategic plan) and execute a strategic national sales plan to meet and exceed annual targets. Sales Management: Lead, mentor, direct & manage a team of National Sales Managers, ensuring clear performance objectives and alignment with overall business plan. Performance & Growth: Drive sales growth by evaluating market reactions, adjusting strategies, and expanding our customer base. Customer Relationships: Professionally represent Rheem to key channel partners, national accounts, and other stakeholders, fostering strong, long-lasting relationships. Operational Excellence: Oversee sales forecasts, budgets, and rebate programs to ensure competitive and profitable partnerships. Team Development: Actively direct & support the professional development of your team through training and timely performance evaluations. Other assigned duties as deemed necessary.Qualitifications:A minimum of 10+ years of direct sales leadership experience, with a proven record of meeting or exceeding targets. Experience in managing large, national, multi-branch accounts is preferred. HVAC & Plumbing Industry experience is a strong asset.A bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.Exceptional communication skills including verbal and written communication. The ability to present and influence all levels of an organization, from contractors to C-level executives. French language skills are a key asset. Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and motivate a high-performing sales team. Strong analytical and reasoning skills, with the ability to interpret market data and competitive conditions to make timely adjustments.Proficient with MS Office Suite and other relevant software. Experience in developing and managing budgets is essential. Participation in Industry Associations is required. Must be willing to travel extensively without restrictions.English language proficiency required, French language proficiency preferred but not required.#LI-MA1#LI-Hybrid
