With a strong presence in Canada and deep expertise in strategy, analytics, and business transformation, they are recognized for shaping the future direction of organizations navigating disruption and growth.Position OverviewCurrently they are seeking a Director to join their growing Financial Services team.Focused on the verticals of wealth management and retail distribution, this role will lead major transformative client engagements, manage high-performing teams, and play an integral role in shaping the firm’s market presence and intellectual agenda. The role combines hands-on leadership in client delivery with a strong emphasis on practice development, business growth, and mentorship of emerging leaders within the firm.The ideal candidate is a seasoned management consultant or strategic leader with deep experience working with clients in wealth and retail distribution to reimagine how they compete and deliver value in a rapidly changing market. Role ResponsibilitiesTake a lead role in the firm as subject matter expert with a focus on excellence in client service delivery.Define the intellectual agenda and strategic direction for client engagements and lead cross-functional teams across a variety of mandates overseeing end-to-end project delivery, to ensure quality and impact.Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring quality and impact.Serve as a subject matter expert, providing thought leadership within your area of specialization.Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior executive clients in financial services sectors (e.g., banking, wealth management, insurance).Identify, shape, and lead business development opportunities.Represent the firm in industry and professional forums, contributing to thought leadership and brand visibility.Contribute to the development of the practice through recruiting, training, and internal leadership initiatives.Lead and mentor consulting teams to deliver results and foster a learning culture.Desired QualificationsGraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) with a strong academic record.Minimum 10 years of management consulting experience, with a focus on financial services. Proven experience leading complex strategy or transformation engagements with executive stakeholders.Strong track record in business development and client relationship management.Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience managing teams and fostering professional development.Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.Entrepreneurial mindset with a commitment to client service excellence.Eligibility to work in Canada; cross-border mobility is an asset.Please note that at present, legal eligibility to work in Canada is a prerequisite for this role.This open role is currently being featured by Thorek/Scott and Partners!
