Job DescriptionIn this role, you will drive high complex technology initiatives, elevate program management standards, and lead a team of Technical Program Managers—partnering closely with senior Engineering and Product leaders to turn strategy into results.If you thrive in complexity, influence at VP level with confidence and empathy, and combine strong agile expertise with people leadership, this is your opportunity to shape large-scale digital impact.Core ResponsibilitiesDrive successful delivery of value across our largest and most complex, multi- programs, both through their own involvement as well as leadership of other Technical Program Managers (TPMs) within Market & Channels Technology (MCT) People leadership responsibility (including performance management and objective setting) for Tech Program Managers (associate to senior), including coaching and development, whilst facilitating and advocating for a continuous learning approach in a culture which provides candid feedback in a kind and constructive manner. Provide oversight of key delivery details to effectively support Program Managers in their delivery and support to proactively resolve risks Articulate and manage complex trade-offs across cost, time, quality, and architectural considerations Champion of Program standards and best practices across the department (including providing guidance to others in tailoring approaches) Play your part in our team succeedingThe Delivery Office in MCT is responsible driving the delivery of our most complex and critical Digital programs that relate to all things Direct to Consumer and also Business to Business. We facilitate the development of clear plans, which are orchestrated excellently with clear progress reporting and proactive risk management. As a department we carry a reputation of having high EQ and bring large teams together to deliver tangible business outcomes for the LEGO Group.Do you have what it takes?The ideal candidate blends a broad knowledge Tech, Business and People skills, with an ability to adapt and a keenness to learn new things at pace. You bring a solid, hands-on, and proven experience with agile delivery models, ideally with more than one framework, e.g. the OKR framework, as well as an understanding of traditional program management delivery models – with the ability to blend delivery models when needed. In addition, we expect to seeExcellent relationship skills, with the ability to quickly build credibility with Product, Engineering and Business colleagues up to Director / VP level Strong stakeholder engagement skills across all levels with a combination of firmness and empathy. Solid facilitation skills of program steer meetings with the ability to shape the governance across the program Team leadership skills with experiencing in developing capability, coaching both through formal and informal leadership Thought leadership when it comes to Agile Delivery Management and emerging knowledge of how AI can transform program management Clear communication in shaping narratives that connect complex programs to portfolio and organizational strategy Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, can optimize communications depending on the needs of the recipients Strong presentation skills, comfortable speaking with and presenting to VP level colleagues Knowledge of application lifecycle management, software development methodologies, modern software architecture and engineering practices Solid understanding, and experience, of product management practices, financial management and budgeting As a person, you thrive in ambiguity and you are a self-starter in uncertain environments.
