As Singapore’s leading provider of Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs), CFS works with over 400 charities and partners to address diverse needs through strategic grantmaking and advisory services.With a commitment to governance excellence and outcome-driven philanthropy, CFS empowers donors to create lasting impact in Singapore’s communities.Job Overview:The Director of Technology & Operations is a key member of the CFS Senior Management Team, responsible for leading and transforming the Technology & Operations function. This role drives operational excellence, digital innovation, and strategic alignment across IT, data analytics, and core operational services. The role holder will work closely with the CEO and other heads of department to embed a culture of continuous improvement and change-readiness throughout the organization.The role holder is responsible for day-to-day business-as-usual (BAU) activities across Technology and Operations, including IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Account Services and Transaction Processing. It involves overseeing tech solution delivery and project execution across key systems such as NetSuite, Donor Portal, and Relationship Manager (RM) Dashboard, supporting data analytics, ensuring operational controls aligned with Enterprise Risk Management framework (ERM).Key Responsibilities:Strategic LeadershipProvide strategic direction for the Technology & Operations department, ensuring alignment with CFS’s mission and long-term objectives.Lead the execution of the Technology roadmap & Operations workplans, adhering to approved budgets and funding allocations.Partner with senior leadership to drive organizational transformation and cultivate a culture of innovation and agility.Inspire and guide team members, modelling collaborative, accountable, and adaptable behaviours to support change initiatives.Technology ManagementManage IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and solution delivery across core platforms including NetSuite, Donor Portal, and Relationship Manager (RM) Dashboard.Strengthen data governance and advance data analytics capabilities to support strategic decision-making and impact evaluation.Oversee vendor selection and management, including RFI and tender processes, contract negotiation, and relationship maintenance to meet business needs.Responsible for the service quality, governance standards, data protection, security and audit standards of all internal applications and websitesServe as a key resource for front-end users, addressing system-related queries and identifying opportunities for enhancements.Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement across the organization.Operational ExcellenceSupervise daily operations across Account Services and Transaction Processing, ensuring service excellence and operational efficiency.Establish and monitor internal controls in line with CFS policies, particularly for due diligence processes involving donors, vendors, and partners.Lead initiatives to streamline workflows and automate processes, enhancing productivity and minimizing operational risk.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and provide oversight for internal audits related to operational activities.Change ManagementCoordinate with selected vendors to deliver technology initiatives on schedule and in alignment with stakeholder expectations.Champion change management strategies to embed new systems, processes, and behaviours across CFS.Engage vendors and skilled volunteers to strengthen CFS’s technological capabilities, with a focus on data analytics and data strategy.Qualifications / Skills:Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum 10 years of experience in technology and/ or operations leadership. Candidates with experience in non-profit or financial sectors preferred.Proven track record in leading digital transformation and operational improvement initiatives.Strong understanding of enterprise systems, data analytics, and risk management.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.Possesses strong organizational skills, detailed and meticulousAble to work with ambiguity, and across different stakeholder groupsThis is a 2-year contract position.
