Job Highlights:Contract type: Independent ContractorSchedule: 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:00 PMRate: Up to USD5 per hour approximately USD850 per month (to be paid on the selected candidate's local currency)Client Time Zone: PST (Langley, BC)OverviewThe Dispatch Coordinator supports United Traffic’s growth by actively maintaining client accounts while supporting daily dispatch operations.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDispatchAnswer calls and emails from clients and Field TeamMeet client requirements for traffic control, information, issues and safety concernsContact clients for additional traffic control needs to maximize Field TeamReassign Field Team as required (ex. time-off requests, sick days, no-shows, client needs, Field Team skills) and utilize sub-contractors when necessaryAssess current Dispatch overview to ensure adequate Field Team coverage for optimizationUnderstand and utilize Traffic Management Plans to ensure accurate dispatchMaintain client, sub-contractor and Field Team databases including TCP Certificate expiriesFile dispatch program reports and forms, communicate findings with OperationsPerform various admin duties including data entry (ex. new hires & clients) into dispatching programRelay to and gather information from Field Team (ex. Reminders, information, changes, weekend availability)Manage conflicts quickly and professionally ensuring decision-making is based on United Traffic’s mission, vision and valuesWork independently and as part of a team to reach company operational goals within a given timeframeCommunicate client concerns on service and delivery to Operations during meetings to ensure that standards are metAccount MaintenanceAct as a point of contact for all client inquiries and concernsProvide pricing or service agreements to clients upon requestAssist with challenging client requests or issues escalations as neededCoordinate with the Dispatch Team and the TMP Department to determine needs with existing clientsOtherRedirect all other enquiries to the appropriate department (ex. media enquiries)Escalate issues or conflicts to Operations when necessaryReport any abuse or policy violations to OperationsAttend Safety Meetings if required or discuss improvements that can be made to the Field TeamSupport the Health & Safety programPerform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by OperationsAccountabilitiesAccuracy of jobs booked inPercentage of Field Team dispatched daily to metricTen minutes to respond to phone calls and emailsMeet deadlines, commitments and dispatch targetsRequirements1+ year proven experience as dispatcher is requiredStrong familiarity with job routing, team assignment, and technician monitoringAbility to work with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of productivityStrong customer service and problem-solving skillsSolid experience with CRM software and other sales tools, Microsoft 365, Internet and PCExperience delivering client-focused solutionsStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectivelyStrong verbal and written communication skillsBenefitsIndependent Contractor Perks:HMO Coverage for eligible locationsPermanent Work from HomeImmediate hiringSteady Freelance JobReminder:Apply directly through the link provided; you will be redirected to BruntWork’s Career Site.
