G.James Safety Glass (Victoria) has commissioned a brand new state of the art "Industry 4.0" automated glass processing facility on our current site in Campbellfield, Melbourne. We are expanding our Dispatch & Delivery team and looking for some friendly, motivated, and experienced MR or HR Truck Drivers to join us!About G. James G. Work a reliable 38-hour schedule (Monday–Friday) with an AM shift from 6:00 am to 2:20 pm—day driving only from our Campbellfield base. Plus, enjoy optional paid overtime opportunities when available—a great way to boost your earnings while maintaining work-life balance!Key ResponsibilitiesSafely transport glass products to customers and job sites.Load and unload glass materials with care to prevent damage.Inspect and maintain the truck to ensure safe operation.Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies.Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse staff.Complete and maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork.About YouValid MR or HR (manual) license with a clean driving history.Proven truck driving experience, ideally within the glass or manufacturing industry.Experience handling and securing fragile loads is a plus.Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.Excellent time management and communication skills.Knowledge of the metropolitan Melbourne area.Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol test).The BenefitsCompetitive EBA rates $35.99 per hour and entitlements, including paid income protection insurance.Monthly paid RDO + 38-hour working week.Immediate start available with permanent ongoing work.All PPE, safety boots, and work clothes provided.Full induction and safety training provided.Free on-site parking.Health insurance benefits – 7% discount with BUPA.To ApplyIf you feel you can demonstrate the qualities above, please forward a cover letter and resume.Please note: Applicant will be required to undertake a full pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening to secure employment with G.James.While we value the role of recruitment agencies, we are not accepting candidates through agencies at this time.G.
