We're on the lookout for a District Manager to lead service delivery across the Bay of Plenty and Te Tairāwhiti (Gisborne), whilst based in the stunning coastal city of Tauranga Moana. In this pivotal role, you'll drive strategic outcomes and empower your teams to thrive.He pou whirinaki koe. You will oversee six Service Managers across residential, mobile community, and day programme services, ensuring high-quality, culturally responsive support for the people we support. What you'll be doing:Te ihu: Inspiring and developing high-performing teams through inclusive leadershipTe haumi: Building strong relationships with funders, referrers, whānau, and internal teamsTe kei: Ensuring compliance with all contractual, legal, and regulatory requirementsTe terenga: Driving operational performance across finance, HR, and contract management Te arorangi: Leading service innovation and implementing support models that enhance outcomes This is a full-time, permanent position, usually Monday to Friday, involving regular travel to Gisborne (overnight every two weeks), Whakatāne (weekly), and other locations as needed. Additionally, you will be part of a management on-call roster.Salary range: $101,532.84 - $124,096.26 per annum (Placement within the band depends on your qualifications and experience.
