Role Description The Dive Guide is a full-time, on-site role based at the resort in Nunukan, Raja Ampat. The Dive Guide will be responsible for leading dive tours, ensuring the safety of guests during dives, conducting pre-dive briefings, and sharing knowledge about local marine life. Additional responsibilities include maintaining dive equipment, assisting with guest inquiries, and promoting sustainable diving practices to protect the unique underwater ecosystem. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences while adhering to environmental conservation values. Qualifications Professional diving certifications (e.g., PADI, SSI) and in-depth knowledge of safe diving practicesExcellent underwater navigation skills and familiarity with marine life in the Raja Ampat regionStrong interpersonal and communication skills to provide engaging guest interactionsDemonstrated passion for eco-tourism and environmental conservationAbility to work well in a team-oriented and diverse environmentExperience maintaining dive equipment and addressing technical issues is a plusFirst aid and emergency response certification is preferredAttention to detail and problem-solving skills
