Divisional Managing Director

The OpportunityWe are working with a private equity-backed services group to appoint a Managing Director for two of its core operational businesses. This is a high-impact executive role with full P&L ownership, leading multi-site physical operations and a technical workforce of several hundred people across the UK.The group is scaling rapidly, with ambitious growth targets and a strong emphasis on technology. Proprietary platforms, AI-driven diagnostics, and cloud-based systems underpin its operating model, enabling smarter service delivery and enhanced customer outcomes. You will work closely with the CEO and executive team to drive performance, expand footprint, and unlock new revenue streams through innovation, strategic partnerships, and operational excellence.It’s a fast-paced, collaborative environment suited to a commercially sharp, hands-on leader who thrives on complexity and impact.Key ResponsibilitiesLead two businesses to deliver financial and operational targetsOwn strategy, budgets, and performance across multiple sites and hundreds of staff.Drive operational excellence through process improvement and data-led decision-makingExpand footprint through organic growth and acquisitionsLeverage technology platforms to enhance efficiency and customer experienceBuild strong supplier relationships and champion sustainabilityEmbed a customer-first culture and ensure compliance with HSE standardsCollaborate with Group functions to support business objectivesDevelop talent and succession plansAbout YouWe’re looking for a strategic, commercially astute leader with deep operational experience in multi-site environments.
