Participates with the director in directing and managing the work of the Continuing Government Activity (CGA) responsible for SP oversight responsibilities including the implementation of the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP). Management of the distribution mission and its programs; implements goals, objectives, long-range plans and management controls to control operations, determine costs, and evaluate performance.

As senior specialist on distribution management, provides expert technical advice to the center director and other local managers on assigned programs and other matters that affect the center's programs and projects. Analyzes and modifies plans, programs and objectives, recommending major changes to ensure the best possible level of support to the customer. Attends and conducts meetings and conferences with customers, contractors, federal and local officials, and military officers to negotiate or settle controversial issues. One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled.
