We operate in outpatient and community diagnostics, providing timely, accurate specimen collection and pre-analytical services to support laboratory testing across clinical, preventive and diagnostic workflows.Position: Medical Laboratory Technician - Sample Collection (DMLT)Location: Hadapsar, Pune, Maharashtra, India — On-siteRole & ResponsibilitiesPerform safe and accurate specimen collection (venipuncture and capillary sampling) following standard operating procedures and patient identification protocols.Receive, label, log and track specimens into the Laboratory Information System (LIS) to ensure chain-of-custody and result integrity.Prepare, centrifuge, aliquot and store specimens; maintain cold chain and packaging for intra- and inter-facility transport.Maintain collection area hygiene, manage biohazard waste disposal, and comply with biosafety and infection-control protocols.Operate point-of-care testing devices and perform basic quality checks; escalate non-conforming or critical findings to supervisors.Manage inventory of collection kits and consumables, coordinate appointment schedules and support outreach/mobile collection when required.Skills & QualificationsMust-HaveDiploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or equivalent recognized qualification.Formal phlebotomy/venipuncture training with demonstrable hands-on experience in clinical sample collection.Working knowledge of Laboratory Information System (LIS) or sample-tracking software.Strong understanding of biosafety, universal precautions and specimen transport regulations (cold chain management).Ability to follow SOPs, perform basic QC checks and accurately document pre-analytical data.On-site availability for Hadapsar, Pune; reliable attendance and patient-facing professionalism.PreferredExperience in diagnostic laboratory or hospital phlebotomy operations.Exposure to mobile/home sample collection workflows and electronic appointment systems.Training in point-of-care testing (rapid tests, glucometer) and sample preparation techniques.Benefits & Culture HighlightsOn-site role within a fast-paced diagnostic services environment with opportunities for skill development and cross-training.Structured shifts, performance-linked incentives and priority access to professional upskilling in laboratory techniques.Supportive clinical team culture focused on patient safety, quality and operational excellence.This role is ideal for a detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician with strong phlebotomy skills, commitment to biosafety, and the ability to maintain high-quality pre-analytical processes in a busy diagnostic setting in Hadapsar, Pune.Skills: checks,basic,cold chain,specimen collection,venipuncture,training,mobile,phlebotomy,biosafety,testing,skills
