Position: Document ControllerLocation: Benghazi /LibyaIndustry :Construction Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Document Controller to establish and maintainour company’s documentation systems. This role involves managing both hard copy andelectronic document systems across all departments and projects, ensuring efficient archivingand retrieval processes.Key Responsibilities:Documentation Systems Setup:• Develop and implement document management protocols for both hard copy andelectronic formats.• Create a centralized documentation system that is accessible to all relevant stakeholders.Document Control:• Maintain and organize all company documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliancewith industry standards.• Ensure that all project-related documents are properly filed and archived.Backup and Archiving:• Establish and oversee backup systems for both physical and electronic documents toprevent data loss.• Regularly review and update archiving procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.• Assist the IT department in setting up and maintaining IT systems and file servers tosupport document management and storage needs.Collaboration with Departments:• Work closely with all departments to understand their documentation needs and tailorsystems accordingly.• Provide training and support to team members on documentation processes andsystems.Quality Assurance:• Conduct regular audits of documentation systems to ensure compliance with internaland external standards.• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance document control processes.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a relatedfield.• Proven experience as a Document Controller or in a similar role, preferably within theMEP contracting or construction industry.• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.• Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
