Hiring: Document Controller (7+ Years Experience)Location: Milan, Italy (Onsite)Job Type: ContractVisa: Schengen Visa will be providedRotation: 28 Days On / 28 Days OffKey Responsibilities:Manage, control, and track all project documentation, ensuring accuracy, version control, and timely distribution.Maintain document management systems (electronic & physical) to ensure proper storage, retrieval, and archiving.Ensure final documentation complies with company standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams for document submissions and approvals.Monitor document workflows, follow-up on pending approvals, and maintain detailed logs and registers.Prepare document transmittals, reports, and status summaries for management and stakeholders.Support audits, quality reviews, and documentation-related inspections.Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of project documents.Provide training and support to team members on document control processes and tools.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical qualification.Minimum 7+ years of experience in document control within engineering, offshore, oil & gas, EPC, or construction projects.Strong proficiency in Document Management Systems (DMS) such as Aconex, SharePoint, EDMS, etc.Excellent knowledge of document workflows, transmittals, metadata, and quality standards.Strong communication and coordination skills.High attention to detail and ability to work under tight timelines.Excellent English language skills (spoken & written).
