As part of the initial training, for the first couple of months you will be working in our Bolton head office, before transitioning to working from home, at our discretion.About the RoleA key part of our business is the production of attractive, engaging documents called Information Memorandums. They are designed to give potential buyers a factual account of the business and enable them to make an informed decision about whether to proceed with placing an offer and ultimately buying it. We produce the best marketing material within our industry and the successful candidate will be expected to continue that record.As one of our Document Writers your daily duties will include:Interpreting information provided by clients and, if necessary, conducting independent research into the business and its sectorCollating that information into flawless and informative copyPutting the Information Memorandum together, including designLiaising with the client, whether it be over phone, Zoom, email or face-to-face to receive feedback and get their approval for the documentAbout YouSelf-motivated and able to manage your own time effectively in a deadline-orientated environmentAble to work under pressureAttention to detailIT literate – experience using basic Microsoft package essential, any experience with Adobe InDesign would be a bonusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to think outside the box and problem solveAble to take and action feedback from colleagues and clientsExperience of writing in a professional environment would be preferredCustomer service experience is also idealWe are particularly interested in hearing from people who have an educational background in Creative Writing, English, Journalism and Media; but a bachelor's degree is not necessary.Schedule:Full-time, office-based for initial period with no working on weekends.Monday to Friday – 8:30am – 5:00pmRemuneration:Salary: £26,000 pa, subject to experience.
