We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Junior Accountant (Part-Time) to support the finance team with daily and periodic accounting tasks. This is a temporary position running from August 15 to November 15, 2025, with a half-day schedule each weekday. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and familiarity with accounting software, particularly QuickBooks. ResponsibilitiesDaily Document Scanning: Scan and archive approximately 50 financial documents per dayEnsure accurate digital filing and organizationJournal Entry Preparation: Prepare and enter daily journal entries into QuickBooksBank Statement Data Entry: Enter bank statement transactions every other dayAccounts Payable Processing:
Enter vendor invoices and payments into QuickBooksMaintain up-to-date AP recordsRetail Billing & Follow-Up: Generate monthly invoices for retail tenantsMonitor and follow up on outstanding lease/rent paymentsAddress other retail-related billing mattersOther Tasks: Perform additional administrative or accounting duties as assignedQualificationsAssociate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldFoundational knowledge of accounting principlesPrevious experience with QuickBooks preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracyProficiency in Microsoft Excel and digital document handlingStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage time effectively and work independentlyProfessional and discreet handling of financial information
