Retail Category Planner

With a starting Cost to Company of between R12K-20K CTC per month, we're looking for people who value strategic planning, problem-solving, customer satisfaction and working in an innovative environment. What would the job entail?As a Category Planner at DotActiv you would be responsible for :

(By utilising DotActiv's Category Planning Software)Creating strategic assortment plans;Designing data-driven floor space plans;Planning and building data-driven shelf plans;Conducting floor and space plan analytical reviews;Developing optimised cluster plans per product category using the clusteroptimizer and maintenance tools in the DotActiv software;Analysing the cluster plan and profiling each cluster to deliver strategic insights to clients;Maximising customer and category performance by considering category strategies and plans, product financial performance, shopper psychology and aesthetic appeal; andSupporting, advising and guiding retail customers where requiredRequirementsCreative flair and ability to identify aesthetic/visual appeal2+ years of similar and relevant experience in the Retail SectorStrong Interpersonal SkillsComputer Literacy - MS OfficeDriver's license and own transportStrong verbal and written communication skills (English)Team playerStrong organisational and prioritisation skillsSelf-motivated and results orientedMust have strong analytical skills and be able to use data analysis techniques and how to apply these to business situations;You must have a high capacity to represent the DotActiv brand as a specialist;You must have a high degree of internal client engagement;Consumer Science, Business/Marketing or Supply Chain related degree is a mustBenefitsHere's what you can expect from DotActiv when joining the team as a Category Planner.
