Job Description

Senior Manager – IT Project Management - APACDP World is seeking for a Senior Manager in IT Project Management. In this role, the Senior Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating a diverse of IT initiatives, ensuring the successful planning, execution and delivery of technology solutions that enhance business operations, particularly in Container terminals, Logistics and Supply Chain environment. This role demands strong project management capabilities, a well-rounded understanding of IT systems and applications, and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Operating within a regional APAC remit, the ideal candidate will oversee the execution of a variety of technology projects, including—but not limited to—new system rollouts, application upgrades, cloud adoption, infrastructure enhancements, cybersecurity implementations, and digital transformation efforts. The role ensures that all projects are delivered on schedule, within scope and budget, and aligned with organizational goals and technology strategies.

Key AccountabilitiesProject Planning and ExecutionDevelop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets and deliverables Define project scope, goals and success conditions Ensure alignment with IT standards and governance processes Conduct project kick-off, updates and status reporting Perform scope management and change management Risk and Budget ManagementIdentify project risks and mitigation strategies Monitor project budget vs actuals Monitor plan vs actual timelines Infrastructure Implementation & DevelopmentOversee network, cloud and data centre project deployments Coordinate upgrades, migrations and system integrations Ensure systems and infrastructure meets performance, security and compliance standards Stakeholder & Team CoordinationCollaborate with IT Engineers, Architects, Vendors and business leaders Communicate project progress, risks and dependencies Facilitate team meetings, status updates and issue resolution Qualifications, Experience, and SkillsBachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fieldProject Management Certification (PMP, Prince2, Agile Certified Practitioner)At least 7-10 years of experience in IT Project ManagementRelevant experience with handling large end-to-end project lifecycle from planning to closure of projectTechnical knowledge of Networking, Cloud, Data Centre InfrastructureExperience in designing project plans, communication plans and risk registerStrong communication and stakeholder managementStrong experience in Project Management tools (Jira/MS Project)Strong risk management techniquesFamiliarity with IT Frameworks such as ITIL/AgileEqual Employment Opportunity (EEO)DP World is committed to the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
