We are seeking a Baltic IT Business Analyst to take ownership of business-critical data flows and drive the analysis, design, and implementation of information systems that enable efficient and reliable data movement across the organization. In this role, you will not only be responsible for configuring and enhancing key IT systems, but also act as a key liaison ensuring data-driven operations run smoothly across all three Baltic countries.
The position also offers exciting opportunities to collaborate with other GeoPost Business Units across Europe and to represent DPD Baltics in various GeoStandard communities, contributing to cross-border alignment and shared technological standards within the GeoPost group. Your responsibilities: 1. Data Flow & System ConfigurationAnalyze, document, and optimize data flows between internal, Geopost, and third-party systems. Ensure data integrity and compliance with GeoStandards. Configure and maintain the DPD dataflow gateway and related systems. Manage system settings, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance. 2. Business & Technical AnalysisTranslate business requirements into technical specifications. Develop system designs, workflows, and documentation.
Collaborate with developers, IT teams, and the Solution Architect to align with architectural strategy. 3. Community EngagementRepresent DPD Baltics in industry forums and communities. Advocate for company interests, build stakeholder relationships, and lead community initiatives. 4. User Support & TrainingProvide technical support for GeoStandard and data flow systems. Develop training materials and deliver sessions. Maintain user documentation and guidelines. 5. Stakeholder CommunicationEngage with departments to gather requirements and provide updates. Facilitate meetings and ensure clear communication of system status and project progress. 6. Project & Sprint CollaborationWork with Project Management on scope, timelines, and priorities. Plan and estimate analysis tasks within sprints.
Maintain backlog items and handle support tickets. 7. Continuous ImprovementMonitor industry trends and identify improvement opportunities. Propose and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Our requirements: Higher Education in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Proven experience as an IT Analyst or similar role. Strong knowledge of data flow management and IT systems configuration. Proficiency in systems analysis, design, and documentation. Excellent organizational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams in different Business Units. Excellent problem-solving skills. Experience in community engagement and representation. Knowledge of specific software and tools.
