Westmeath. Purpose Of The RoleThe Fleet Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the Fleet Administrator in their day to day role, dealing with escalations. They will also assist the manager in maintaining relationships and ensuring optimal operational efficiency, compliance with regulations, and cost-effectiveness. This role requires organisational skills and a good understanding of fleet management.
Job ResponsibilitiesAudit / DeclarationsConduct audit of vehicle recharges to ensure accuracyConduct in person audits in depots reporting on vehicle conditionFollow up with depots after audits to review findingsPaymentsTrack invoices from supplier and ensure accuracy of the billing processTelematics FootageAssist, guide or execution of pulling footage using the telematics systemTrainingNew and existing staff should be given a welcome pack of information which will be their go to guide on how to manage their fleet effectively as part of our insurance groupEncourage independence and confidence in the depot leaders to manage their day to day challengesTraining on all systems through video calling platform if not completed in person IssuesLiaise with telematics and depotEncourage and guidance to depot to self-serveProblem solve with depot to pinpoint issueEscalate if necessaryRelationship/Account ManagementLiaise with vehicle suppliers, garages and OEMSUpdate and review KPIs This for supervisorDepot/Network AssistanceAiding depots in carrying out maintenance on the fleetAssisting the network on sourcing vehiclesAiding in vehicle breakdowns and VORPeople ManagementSupervises and guides the Fleet Administrator in their daily tasks and long-term objectives to ensure efficient fleet operations.
