This role will be Newcastle based.Key ResponsibilitiesImport & manipulate vendor drawings/modelsCollaborate with the design engineers to deliver concept and detailed design models and drawingsSupport project teams with documentation, revisions and coordination of models and drawings.Maintaining design templates and drawing standardsAbout YouYou’ll be seeking fulfilment through autonomy, career flexibility, and working for a business that provides purpose and relevance in what you do. With outstanding communication skills and the ability to influence and drive successful project outcomes, you’ll have experience working in a consulting environment, delivering projects as part of a multi-disciplinary and multi-office team.QualificationsEnrolled in or have completed a relevant TAFE qualification: Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting or Certificate IV/Diploma in Civil Construction DesignSkills And ExperienceExperience with CAD softwareFamiliarity with technical drawingsStrong attention to detailWell‑developed verbal and written communication skillsStrong problem‑solving skills and the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary teamMindset and behavioursSafety‑first, risk‑based approach to all design deliveryCommitment to working safely within the company’s HSEQ systemsEnthusiastic and motivated to learn from peers and senior team membersDesirableInterest or experience in water and wastewater treatment or pipeline designWhat We OfferA career with Beca will provide you with:Flexibility & Wellbeing: We recognise that achieving a work-life balance is unique to everyone.
