Be the go-to resource for questions about account balances, transactions, and variances — able to explain the details behind financial results with clarity and accuracy. Support client decision-making by preparing accurate and timely financial information, with guidance and oversight from a ControllerOther key responsibilities include: Manage revenue cycle (order to cash), including invoicing, collections, and revenue recognitionOversee expense management process, including coding, approval workflows, and accrualsLead or support payroll processing, preparing payroll-related journal entries and reconciling payroll activityExecuting the monthly close process:

journal entries, reconciliations, supporting schedules, and drafting management reports and KPI summariesExecution of client complianceMaintain sound internal controls and process documentationOversee compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory requirementsPrepare compliance-related reports and schedules such as: Sales taxLoan covenant calculationsTeam Lead Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of five accounting professionals, guiding best practices, career development, and performance management to foster a high-performing, collaborative team environment. Participate as part of the hiring team and help onboard new team members, ensuring they have the tools, resources, and knowledge needed to succeed.

Required Skills And AbilitiesExperience successfully revamping accounting processes and technologyStrong with complex revenue recognition (eg: ASC 606 for subscription revenue)Deep knowledge of complex payrollStrong QuickBooks Online experience required. Xero, Intacct & NetSuite are a plus to have.
