Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to join our well-established accounts department at Druids Glen Hotel & Golf ResortThe major function of this role is the responsibility for maintaining efficient and accurate accounting functions. The Financial Controller will report directly to General Manager and Group Director of Finance and lead the day-to-day operation of the hotel finance function, responsible for a variety of tasks to include the following key responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day accounting and a small Finance teamBe involved in and control day to day accounting processesWeekly and monthly forecasting/budgetingFinancial analysis and reportingPreparation of monthly Profit & Loss accounts and balance sheet reconciliationsPreparation of annual accounts and liaise with auditors requiredControl costs and payroll in line with budgetKey requirements and skills: -Role would suit a Financial Controller or an Assistant Financial Controller / Hotel Accountant from hospitality industry looking to progress career.

Industry experience essentialAttention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlinesGood analytical and numerical skillsHigh level competence in Microsoft Excel and other office packagesPrevious experience with hotel PMS system (Hotsoft), Accounting systems (Sun) and Alkimii are beneficial but not essentialExcellent organisational, time management and communication skills (both verbal and written)Analytical and critical thinking skillsStrong interpersonal skillsA drive to succeed, excel and grow with the company.
