Job Description

Are you passionate about data-driven decision-making and business excellence? Join our Business Planning & Analytics team to play a pivotal role in supporting DSTA Programme Centres and Business Functions to achieve performance excellence and governance compliance. In this role, you will collaborate closely with key decision-makers and managers, offering valuable advisory support for business planning, and actionable insights from data analysis. Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Planning and Analysis: Oversee the end-to-end operationalisation of business planning activities for Programme Centres and business functions. Analyse business performance and data to identify trends, flag potential issues, and recommend actionable improvements to support management decisions.

Ensure alignment of business processes with governance requirements, and manage the timely approval and resolution of Work Assignments. Monitor and report non-compliances with governance requirements, proposing management interventions where necessary. Identify, recommend, and implement opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency. Process Improvement And Data Analytics: Assist the team supervisor in streamlining workflows to enhance productivity and operational efficiency. Leverage data analytics to address cross-domain business challenges and strengthen data-driven resource planning and decision making processes. A degree in Business, Data Science, or a related field, with a strong interest in business analytics.

Ability to understand and resolve complex business challenges. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and present large datasets with precision and attention to detail. Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Qlik Sense or Power BI is a bonus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and presenting findings. A curious mindset and a strong desire for continuous learning and growth. Candidates with relevant working experience may be considered for the Assistant Manager role
