Job BriefLocally Engaged Staff Based in Honiara. Program BackgroundThe Solomon Islands Infrastructure Program (SIIP) is a flagship 10-year infrastructure program funded by the Australian Government, with a budget of AUD 276 million. The program intends to improve the quality and accessibility of infrastructure across the provinces, delivering outcomes that contribute to broad-based, inclusive and sustainable economic growth. At the conclusion of SIIP, it is expected that two End of Program Outcomes (EOPOs) will have been achieved: EOPO 1: the Solomon Islands will have enhanced capacity to plan, manage, finance, construct and maintain critical economic infrastructure EOPO 2:

the program will have left a legacy of high profile, resilient and accessible infrastructure assets in a range of sectors across the country that support inclusive economic growth. For more information, please see www. dt-global. comThe RoleThe Infrastructure Administration Officer will assist in the overall administration support to the SIIP infrastructure team.

The Officer will support the procurement and SIIP operations to ensure that SIIP-funded activities are procured, managed and acquitted in line with the Australian Procurement Rules and the SIIP Financial Operations ManualClick on the link or copy paste it to access the full Terms of Reference for this position: https: //tinyurl. com/7wkasffeAbout You Tertiary qualifications in a relevant area such as business studies, accounting, administration, project management or related discipline, or relevant work experience. Minimum 3 years’ professional experience directly working in procurement, contract administration, grant management, fraud management or audit. Understanding of infrastructure delivery in Solomon Islands.

Experience working for a donor funded facility. Demonstrated familiarity with SIG public sector procurement policies and procedures and experience with the preparation of standard bidding documents and evaluation of tenders received. Competence with formatting Microsoft Word documents and preparing databases and spreadsheets using Excel. Understanding of, and demonstrated commitment to, gender equality, disability and social inclusion. Demonstrated ability to effectively administer procurements and subsequent, design, supply of goods and construction contracts. Knowledge and experience administering the Standards Australia suite of construction contracts, specifically AS4000 or AS4906 (desirable).
