KittySpout is looking for a Direct Response Video Editor to join our team!As our video editor, you will be responsible for editing, producing, and managing multiple creative projects with a heavy focus on paid ad creatives for Meta Platforms. You’ll take raw UGC and transform it into high-converting direct response ads that scale across our paid channels.We are looking to hire someone with 3+ years of work experience. We have a strong preference for CapCut Pro, but proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is also acceptable.Paid Ad Focus: Proven experience editing Meta/Facebook paid ads that convert.Volume: Comfortable producing 3 ad briefs per week.Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (or equivalent editing tools).Creative & Analytical Mindset: Ability to combine storytelling with data-driven feedback to refine and improve ads.No issue working overtime or on weekends if needed. You’re passionate about your work and excited by the idea of producing ads that millions will see.Excellent cultural fit as per our values above.Excited to play a big role in scaling the company and work closely with the founders.KPI’S you will own3 daily briefs Quota80% First-Pass Approval Rate: At least 80% of submissions require no revisions.AccountabilitiesDeliver 3 ad briefs per dayWeekly iterations on top-performing ads to drive continuous improvement.Ensure ads are visually compelling, on-brand, and optimized for performance.Work with the creative team to brainstorm and test new ad concepts.Stay plugged into social media/UGC trends to keep our creatives fresh and competitive.Troubleshoot underperforming campaigns by testing different edits, structures, and hooks.This Role Is Not For You IfYou are a meticulous video perfectionist who will spend hours refining a single transition or effect. This is a high-autonomy, "heads-down" role where you will be working independently the majority of the time to meet your individual production goals.You are a methodical planner who prefers stable, long-term projects and predictable workflows. Our environment is inherently dynamic. The tools, guidelines, and video styles can change overnight, and you must be able to pivot instantly without frustration.How Our Hiring Works & How We OperateWhen hiring, we’ll work with you to define the KPIs you’ll be responsible for and set targets. This removes ambiguity around wondering if you’re doing a good job after you start.Initial soft interview, then a technical interview + test project with the current head of marketing, and a final interview to ensure culture fit. We plan to hire within ~8–12 days of conducting these interviews.
