Position Summary: The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data across various school systems and databases. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and efficient, with a strong commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities:
Accurately input and update student, parent, faculty, and alumni data into relevant systems (e. g. , student information systems, donor databases, learning management platforms). Verify accuracy of data before entry and conduct regular data audits. Maintain data integrity and confidentiality in accordance with school policies and privacy regulations. Assist with generating reports, mailing lists, and data exports as needed. Collaborate with other departments (Admissions, Development, Academics) to ensure consistency and accuracy of shared data. Scan, organize, and file physical and digital documents. Perform routine clerical tasks such as data cleanup, updating records, and cross-referencing multiple systems.
Provide general administrative support as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred. Proven experience in a data entry or administrative support role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); familiarity with databases and school information systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Effective communication skills and a collaborative work ethic.
