The Commis Chef role is an exciting role that aims to ensure all our guests have a wonderful experience and enjoy excellent food. About UsDunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa is a luxury estate, nestled in 21 acres of lush green Meath countryside. The Georgian mansion which welcomes visitors today was originally built in 1764, on the same site as the original castle. Dunboyne Castle was acquired by Mr. Thomas Röggla in December 2022.

The hotel joined his collection of luxury Irish hotels forming the TMR Hotel Collection, including Farnham Estate Spa & Golf Resort, Harvey’s Point, Mount Wolseley & Aghadoe Heights. Role & ResponsibilitiesRoleAll our team pride themselves in offering exceptional guest service to ensure we always go above our service standards. Your role with us will include: Supporting the senior kitchen team with food preparation and basic cooking tasks.

Assisting in the preparation of ingredients and mise en place for various kitchen stations. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food preparation areas. Following HACCP guidelines and food safety procedures at all times. Working as part of a team to ensure a smooth kitchen operation and consistently high food quality. RequirementsA positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the kitchen environment. Some previous experience in a kitchen is desirable but not essential—full training will be provided. A strong interest in food, culinary techniques, and a career in hospitality.

Must be available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
