Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead and oversee large-scale Solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. The ideal candidate should have a solid engineering background, proven leadership skills, and a strong grasp of project management principles with hands-on experience in utility-scale solar projects. PMP certification is a significant advantage. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and manage end-to-end execution of solar power projects (MW-scale), ensuring completion within defined timelines, budget, and quality. Coordinate with internal engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure project milestones are met.

Liaise with clients, consultants, government bodies, subcontractors, and vendors for seamless project execution. Prepare and monitor detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocation. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies. Review project designs, technical specifications, and drawings to ensure alignment with project requirements. Lead project reviews, progress meetings, and prepare project reports for stakeholders. Manage contracts, resolve disputes, and ensure contractual obligations are met. Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory compliance. Drive continuous improvement and implementation of best practices in project management. KEY QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.

Minimum of 12 years experience in managing large-scale solar EPC or renewable energy projects. Proven track record of delivering multi-megawatt solar projects from concept to commissioning. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools. PMP certification is a strong advantage. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. Proficient in project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent. Familiarity with national and international codes and standards (IEC, IEEE, IS, NEC). Strong commercial and contractual acumen. Knowledge of grid interconnection and power evacuation systems. Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
