Company Description Sorrento Sailing Couta Boat Club (SSCBC) is situated at the southern end of the Mornington Peninsula, accessible from Melbourne. The Club features a passionate and friendly, family-based membership with competitive fleets of off-the-beach dinghies, catamarans, couta boats, and keelboats. The Clubhouse, sandy beaches, expansive lawns, superb sailing conditions, and first-class dining facilities provide recreational opportunities for members and their guests. SSCBC has hosted several successful national and international regattas and was awarded the 2015/16 Australian and Victorian Yacht Club of the Year. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Duty Manager/Senior Supervisor – Hospitality located in Sorrento, VIC. The Duty Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations in the Club, including staff management, ensuring exceptional member and guest experiences, coordinating events, and maintaining hospitality standards. The role requires hands-on leadership and efficient management of the Club's dining and recreational facilities. Qualifications Experience in staff management and team leadershipProficiency in hospitality operations and facility managementStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to coordinate events and manage logisticsKnowledge of safety and hygiene standards in a hospitality settingExcellent organizational and problem-solving skillsRelevant qualifications in hospitality management or related fields are advantageousExperience in a club environment is a plus
