Role OverviewOur client is seeking a motivated Manager to support the acquisition and optimization of utility-scale solar, storage, and digital infrastructure projects.

This role involves leading M&A execution, including financial modeling, due diligence, and contract negotiations, while collaborating across teams to drive strategic growth.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesOversee daily execution tasks related to acquiring, selling, or partnering on large-scale solar and storage projectsDirect the internal valuation process, including building and refining financial models with input from junior staff and technical expertsOrganize and manage all aspects of diligence efforts using both internal teams and third-party consultantsAssist the deal lead with negotiating final agreements and transaction documentsDevelop and deliver materials for leadership and board review to support key investment approvalsWork closely with cross-functional teams on late-stage projects to finalize key commercial agreements, such as power sales and construction contractsOffer detailed financial analysis by converting contract terms into dynamic Excel models and performing pricing scenario analyses for power purchase agreementsExamine core contract terms and ensure alignment of obligations across documents, including milestones, performance metrics, and penalty provisionsQualificationsRelevant work experience, including in analytical roles directly tied to large-scale solar and storage assets and investment evaluationUndergraduate degree or higher, ideally in a quantitative or technical disciplineHands-on involvement in M&A processes for utility-scale energy projects, with experience leading or significantly contributing to acquisitionsHigh proficiency in Excel, including building and stress-testing complex financial models incorporating construction loans, term financing, tax equity, and structured capitalStrong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of contributing to investment memos and decision-making frameworksProactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a high-energy, evolving environmentWillingness to work onsite several days per weekOpen to domestic travel up to ten to twenty percent of the timeMust be legally authorized to work in the U.
