As an integral part of our early learning centres, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of young children and fostering their growth and development.What you’ll be doing:Develop and implement engaging, play-based learning programs that align with the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning FrameworkCreate a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive developmentObserve, document, and assess children's learning and development, maintaining accurate records and portfolios Collaborate with fellow educators to plan and deliver high-quality educational experiencesBuild and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleaguesEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and proceduresParticipate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood educationContribute to the centre’s continuous improvement efforts and quality assurance processesMentor and support other staff members in their professional growthCommunicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns. Required Certifications & QualificationsQualifications suitable for a teacher under the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010 and the Department of Education Victorian Kindergarten Funding Guide. Hold a current Police Check (within past 6 months) and Employee Working with Children’s Check, which demonstrates suitability for employment in a children’s service. Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related fieldQualifications suitable for a teacher under the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010Current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration and Police Check (completed within the last 6 months)Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma management certifications.
