Through individualized instruction, therapeutic services, and a nurturing environment, BCC helps children reach their full potential.Position SummaryWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Head Start Teacher to join our team! This role is perfect for an educator who thrives in an inclusive environment and is committed to helping infants and toddlers develop the skills they need for lifelong success. The teacher will design and implement lessons tailored to each child’s developmental needs while working closely with families and other professionals to support holistic growth.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with the Early Learning Outcomes Framework and BCC’s School Readiness Plan.Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom that supports social, emotional, and cognitive development.Conduct developmental assessments (ASQ-3, ASQ-SE2) and maintain accurate documentation in ChildPlus.Build strong, culturally responsive relationships with families, encouraging active engagement and partnership.Collaborate with staff, specialists, and families to develop individualized learning plans for each child.QualificationsEducation: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.Candidates currently enrolled in a qualifying degree program (AA or BA) will also be considered. If hired, teacher will have three (3) years to complete the degree.
