What You’ll DoThe HRBP will provide guidance, assistance and support in developing and maintaining a cohesive and productive workforce to the Eaton Filtration Plant in Sint-Niklaas. In this role you will support operations by implementing and administering a full scope of human resources plans and activities that contribute to organizational excellence and promote positive employee relations. These activities involve the performance of diverse human resources duties in the areas of staffing, compensation, training, performance management, work culture improvement, employee communications and other business/employee-related activities.
Create and maintain a relationship with site leadership teams at all levels of the organization, acting as a business partnerDevelop and deploy HR strategies to manage talent, drive the culture, and align the organization for a small plantLead the recruitment and staffing processes to ensure the hiring of highly skilled and talented individuals, supporting plant operations through planning headcount and succession planningParticipate in driving the Eaton Business System (EBS), including the HR Operating Review, Operational Assessment, Lean and other core organizational initiatives to ensure standardized, high-quality processes throughout Sint-NiklaasEnsure that the Sint-Niklaas plant complies with all legal and regulatory requirements, relevant employment legislation, and company policies.
Implement local HR policies and procedures in alignment with EBS. Ensure proper and effective personnel administration and reporting, e. g. , headcount, time and attendance, payroll. Administer compensation, benefit and performance processes in partnership with Eaton CompensationIdentify the learning, training, and development needs of the organization and support effective delivery and evaluation of trainingBuild managers' leadership capability, using coaching skills to influence behaviour and business decisions to be consistent with our values and ethical standards.
Ensure effective deployment and utilization of performance management systems and work as a partner with managers throughout the processComply with the policies, procedures, and expectations outlined by Eaton’s Management System for the Environment, Safety, Security, and Health and Quality Management SystemQualificationsDegree in Human Resources or Business Administration from an accredited institutionAt least 2 years of HR generalist experienceAt least 2 years of experience at manufacturing environment in operations.
Fluency in Dutch and EnglishFamiliarity with Belgian labour law (regulations, standards, and enforcement agencies)SkillsStrong labour relations skills, including labour law knowledge, contract negotiations & daily contract administrationAbility to understand, interpret and easily communicate and align policies and practices Demonstrate discretion, able to work with sensitive and confidential materials and possess good business judgment.
