Title: Econometric Data Analyst (Remote)Location : RemoteCompensation: $20 – $100 per hourEngagement Type: Independent ContractorWe are hiring for one of our clients seeking an Econometric Data Analyst with deep expertise in Stata SE to support advanced research and policy-focused analytical projects.This role is ideal for professionals experienced in panel data analysis, causal inference, and reproducible research workflows.Role OverviewYou will design and implement econometric models using Stata SE, manage complex datasets, and produce well-documented, reproducible research outputs. The role requires strong technical rigor, analytical precision, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to academic or policy audiences.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement econometric models using Stata SEConduct panel data analysis and apply causal inference techniquesDevelop and optimize do-files for automation and reproducibilityClean, transform, and validate large-scale datasetsProduce clear technical reports, memos, and presentation materialsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to refine analytical approachesEnsure transparency, reproducibility, and ethical data handling standardsRequired QualificationsExpert proficiency in Stata SEStrong experience with econometric modeling and automation via do-filesAdvanced knowledge of panel data methods and causal inference frameworksExperience handling and optimizing large datasetsStrong documentation and reporting skillsAbility to communicate complex findings clearly to non-technical stakeholdersSelf-motivated and comfortable working in a remote environmentPreferred QualificationsMaster’s or PhD in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related fieldExperience supporting academic research or policy institutionsFamiliarity with complementary tools such as R or PythonExperience producing peer-reviewed or policy-grade analytical outputsIdeal Candidate ProfileMethodologically rigorous and detail-orientedStrong emphasis on reproducibility and clean documentationComfortable working with complex longitudinal or administrative datasetsAble to translate quantitative findings into practical insightsEngagement DetailsIndependent contractor engagementFully remoteFlexible schedulingHourly compensation based on expertise and project complexityProject duration may vary depending on needs and performanceEqual Opportunity StatementAll qualified applicants will be considered without regard to legally protected characteristics.
