You’ll connect people, ideas and investment to help our community and economy thrive.What You'll DoAs an Economic Development Strategist, you’ll lead initiatives that grow and diversify the Southern Highlands economy. You’ll use your strategic insight, strong relationships, and understanding of business and market trends to connect people, ideas, and opportunities that drive meaningful outcomes for our community.Working Closely With The Manager Strategic Outcomes, You WillDevelop and implement strategies that attract investment, strengthen local businesses, and grow our local economy.Build and leverage relationships with business leaders, industry partners, and government agencies to identify opportunities and influence positive outcomes.Facilitate networks, partnerships, and discussions that bring stakeholders together to deliver shared objectives.Identify emerging trends, funding and investment opportunities that benefit the Wingecarribee Shire.Collaborate across Council to align planning, procurement, and place-based initiatives with economic development priorities.Why Wingecarribee?Wingecarribee Shire is at the heart of the Southern Highlands of NSW, a region renowned for its natural beauty, strong community connections, and thriving local economy.
