Job Description

The opportunity: If you want to build a serious career with a professional channel, then let’s talk.I’m a Canadian who’s been working in business for over eight years, with a background in consulting, sales, and operations. I built a book of business from the ground up, generating more than $1 million in value, so I understand the level of effort and resources it takes to succeed. Combining my unique knowledge of the niche, with my business acumen, I’m confident the results we’ll achieve. Our YouTube channel is called ScreenPuff. We create high quality Netflix-style documentaries about the stories surrounding TV and film. This includes the successes, failures, production, casting, ideas, as well as actors, writers, and directors. As a cinephile myself, I’ve watched and studied countless shows and films for years, and have a passion for it. Are you the right fit…We’re not looking for an average, run-of-the-mill employee who’s just in it for the money. We want someone who shares our passion for authentic, high-quality content. Someone with a creative eye and a strong drive to improve. I’m always there to support and help you grow, but I also like to give you space, so the more you can take ownership of the work and the process, the better. Revision and feedback are very specific and are done through Frame io. Bonus points if you have a strong knowledge or interest in TV / Movies. Just some of my favorites: South Park, Friends, Breaking Bad, Scarface, Fight Club, Forrest Gump, Titanic, Dark Knight, Wolf of Wall Street, Pulp Fiction (anything by Tarantino or Scorsese).  The future… Our goal is to reach 100K subscribers within the first year. We’re looking for someone who wants to grow with the channel; someone ambitious, collaborative, and ready to take on more responsibility as we scale. If you're driven, take ownership of your work, and see yourself thriving in a long-term role, there will be clear paths to progression, including the potential to move into roles like channel manager, depending on your interests and performance.Expectation: 4 videos a monthCompensation: $10-$20 per finished minute.Raises and promotions given based on quality and speed. If you’re excited by everything I’ve shared, make sure to apply. Every application gets reviewed.
